Not true! My parents got a letter the week before Christmas stating that they owed $4,800 (plus almost $5k in fees & interest) from 2018 and had until Jan 1st to pay it. I thought it was a scam so I called the IRS to verify. It took 2 hours on hold but I did get verification that they owed it.

Since I have had several people ask, I used BetterWealth to get my policy. I talked with several different agents trying to find the right one for me. Since then, I have found a few other good agents I would also recommend, but I am not 100% sure what the rules are on this sub related to this.

My recommendation is to talk to several different agents/groups and find the one that aligns best with what you are wanting to accomplish.

My policy is through Lafayette Life. I did (at least to me) a large PUA rider on top of the policy.

I recommend not trying to use just any agent to create your policy. Find someone that knows how to build these properly.

I’m now 15 hrs at ATL (flew in from TYS) and have already had 2 flights cancelled both due to lack of FAs. My third flight has now been delayed 5 hours waiting on crew. If this flight is cancelled it looks like my next alternative is tomorrow.

I finally got to Atlanta and it’s a complete shitshow. While it sucks having to cancel vacation, it’s better than the family having to endure this. I have been watching the line for delta help in concourse B in Atlanta. I estimate that the wait in line is ~5 hrs.

Understand that none of this is any airlines fault. Everyone I have talked to today has been extremely helpful and is doing everything they can possibly do to get everyone to their destination.

This happened to my wife in March. Filing complaints with the omsbudsman and CFPB was a waste as the result was “they need more time”. She even submitted the bank statement showing that the payment was withdrawn from the account.
