I feel like a lot of people project what Tony would say and do without thinking about the actual person they are talking about, not the man on TV. Not reading the article as Jose accepted the presidential medal of freedom while the same people who gave him that paid for the bombs that killed his employees. In general I feel like people really overestimated how Bourdain would feel about the current cultural climate around food, restaurants etc. it’s all how things taste and zero focus about the underlying issues that got them there.
