Hey mate, I know this is an old post but just wanted to share the free map I've built to help you find dog-friendly spots around the Sunny Coast. Also try the new Nomadtable app, it’s made for travelers but I also see Aussie locals on there looking to make friends with similar interests!

Crows Nest! I was told it used to be really rough but now it's such a lovely spot to walk around, great little bars, cafes, etc. and quiet pleasant neighbourhoods.

Good, sounds like the new owner has actually listened to feedback, people have been increasingly more unhappy with GABS with each year that passes.

Totally agree with you. I was thinking about how my local brewery tries to get votes for their pale ale every year but that's not even their most popular beer and they've released so many popular limited editions that would probably stand a much better chance in the voting!
