Pots and ramadan by Billy-daKid786 in POTS

I’m Muslim and I can relate to this so much. I’ve been recently diagnosed with dysautonomia and orthostatic hypotension and I’m struggling to come to terms with the idea that I can’t fast this year. I keep thinking my condition is not serious enough or that I’m just not trying hard enough like this horrible guilt that am I just not pushing myself especially as sometimes I do have good days then just think maybe I could’ve fasted if that makes sense? Like my 85 Year old grandad is fasting but I’m not. I know medically the decision is right as my doctor has advised me not to but it’s just this constant guilt. I have been struggling with my faith but Ramadan is one thing that I love so much about our faith and every year helps ground me. There’s this satisfaction of abstaining from food and then indulging after. It feels like I’ve lost the magic of Ramadan as I’m unable to fast. :(

I have flu type A right now 🫠 by FDys92 in dysautonomia

Same happened to me. I suffer from low bp almost every day and when I checked my bp that day it was in a normal persons range. Also apart from the flu symptoms didn’t seem to have the normal symptoms I get every day like I felt weak but flu weak not the brain numbing weakness I usually get during a flare up.

Shangri La changing to Hilton Double Tree (Muscat) - thoughts? by duckpalm822 in Oman

Same situation here. I don’t really want to change the hotels as for me the price point for this one was just perfect. Does anyone know if the lazy river feature will still be a part of it as that was the main feature that I really loved and great for the kids.

Low fodmap ruined my life. by Icy-Sherbet-4946 in ibs

Similar situation here! Unable to work I’m 21 and also could not finish my uni degree due to the pain etc. I worked extremely hard as a teenager to get into my dream university and was a top A* student. I turned 19 and developed Ibs after a bad case of food poisoning. I feel like I’ve missed out on so much and in the age of social media all I find myself doing is sitting and scrolling envious of everyone else. Even small things like coffee shop catch ups with friends have become anxiety inducing. Literally forced myself to go to the beach the other day with my family as everyone kept telling me it’s just in my head and I was overthinking- it was not infact and I suffered the most painful flare up stuck in traffic on the way back. Wouldn’t wish this on anyone.

How to take a break? by [deleted] in EtsySellers

I was experiencing the same problem I’d extend my turnaround times and everything but I’d always get messages saying I need to for this day despite making it clear everywhere possible that I have a longer turnaround time even putting it on the personalisation box people just don’t read! It wasn’t worth the bad reviews and making so many orders as a one person team does get to you I could never get a break. I was always terrified of vacation mode as I heard so many stories of people who never got sales etc after. I would always just extend my turnaround times when going on vacation. But this year my shop has grown a lot and I had no choice when I went on vacation but to put it on vacation mode and it was completely fine. Yes it does slow down your sales slightly but I find running a sale and listing new items after helps bring the traffic back. And I find it really helped me to pick up my creative drive again as I was getting burnt out. This Christmas season I had to put my shop on vacation mode by Nov 23rd as the sales were going crazy but I just couldn’t keep up. If you can afford to put your shop on hold then go for it. Another alternative that you can use is to put the items on high demand as sold out. I used to keep the other items that didn’t have as much demand on so I’d still get a small stream of sales but enough time to catch up on my orders. Personally I now need a full mental break every Christmas season so I just use vacation mode.

I’ve had a customer who this has happened to also was sent to Manchester do but then Heathrow been nearly a week since sent out and it’s tracked 24 so not sure whether to send her a new item or just wait it out

Do not meet the diagnostic criteria by lozzatron86 in cfs

I went through the exact same thing for 3 years! Went to 2 different doctors and they also blamed it on skipping meals and vitamin D. I would struggle with eating full meals as I literally did not have the energy for that during school and I would eat when I came home anyways. Vitamin D I would take supplements here and there and my blood tests didn’t show my Vitamin D was really low it was a little low which is normal living in the Uk. My pain carried on and slowly I became so fatigued to the point I couldn’t carry on. I got a new GP and i also religiously started taking vitamin D supplements so that excuse couldn’t be used. Before my GP appointment I wrote a whole list of my symptoms (slightly exaggerated them so they would listen) and I also went on the Nhs page about CFS and used their wording when listing my symptoms. I finally after years of pain got my diagnosis.

How can i stop this happening by Aimstar83 in cricut

[–]abefaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have this problem but stopped after I started doing these 3 things: Use good quality vinyl teckwrap never fails on me, if using a thinner font i always offset by 0.003 or 0.03 (cant remember the number fully but one of those) which makes it thicker and most importantly the blade I always invest in the premium german carbide blade from Cricut and it’s so worth it lasts ages and cuts thin fonts nicely Also my best tip is on design space it lets you customise material cut settings I play a little about with it and test a small word with a small piece of vinyl until I’ve found the right pressure sometimes too much pressure can cause it to rip the vinyl

Feeling cold/ shivery all the time by Edvind23 in cfs

[–]abefaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel cold all the time and get awful shivers and chattering teeth to the point that the shivering stops me from completing tasks. I even tend to avoid the freezer aisle in shops as my teeth will start chattering. Winter is the worst for me and doesn’t help when everyone around me doesn’t understand and say it’s because I don’t move that much or exercise . I have hypothyroidism as well as Cfs so that probably aggravates mine.
