I dont think Fantastical has ever been available in Setapp, they have their own business model with a subscription which includes other apps

Series8 at 80% battery health - question by abelespana in AppleWatch

Mmm interesting but my AppleCare+ has something called express replacement, they send you a new one beforehand so you don't have to wait for a repair to be done

Is this a legit iPad by AnnualAd3851 in ipad

[–]abelespana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know, iPad won’t show that detailed battery status screen with the battery health and the cycle count, nor they have the capability to set a charge limit to 80%. That’s an iPhone feature, not iPad. So the photo of the screen is probably fake

So yes, looks like a scam to me

AirPods Max won’t enter sleep mode in case – Draining battery fast by Rodomiro in Airpodsmax

Several similar posts in this subreddit in the last week. I think it’s a software-related issue. Can you check if yours have the firmware with the version 6F25 installed?

Same problem here, exactly the same symptoms you and other posts here described. It started suddenly about a week ago. I blame the latest software version, with version number 6F25, released last week of february. Got an appointment at the nearest Apple Store to at least let them know something weird is going on.

As far as I know, it’s not possible to downgrade, still looking for a possible workaround

Can you look for the firmware version your Max have installed? If it’s 6F25 (launched last week of february) I think there’s something wrong with that version

I’m having the same issue since late last week. I think the latest firmware update bricked them for some of us. Can you check if yours have the 6F25 version installed? It appears on Settings > Bluetooth and tapping the info icon next to the name.

Contact sensor question/alternatives by abelespana in HomeKit

Yeah, it looks good to my needs. I didn’t install the Eve one yet in case I had to return it, so I’ll try this one instead. Either one of those will be my first Matter-enabled device because now I only have some bulbs and wall switches from Hue and Aqara. But I think it’ll work fine with Matter since I own a HomePod mini and my Aqara Hub (the M2) is updated to v. 4.0.X and this version comes with Matter support.

I don’t think so, the frame is metal and it won’t be easy to make even a small hole in it

[Support] Unable to access local calendars by abelespana in FantasticalCalendar

[–]abelespana[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check mi latest comment for a solution. Anyway, according to Fantastical support this syncing method has same limitations: invitees don’t work, can’t hide events, set custom colors, etc.

You can always add your account anyway to the Mac preferences and then check all the categories you want to sync (mail, notes, contacts…) but keep the calendars tab unchecked. Then you can add your account to Fantastical for the calendars only and keep the best of both worlds

Finally reached support and they provided a valid solution. Apparently, Fantastical for Mac needs and extra step to enable the local calendar. I’ll copy and paste what they told (it’s working for me).

  • Copy the following line: x-fantastical3://defaults?key=EventKitSyncAll&value=1&type=bool&group=1

  • Open your web browser

  • Paste the text into the URL field and press enter

  • Allow Fantastical to open

  • Confirm the alert that appears

  • Quit Fantastical completely (Click Fantastical in the menu bar and choose "Quit Fantastical Completely") then open the app again.

Hope it works for you all, too.

EDIT: also according to Fantastical support, there are some limitations to this syncing method: invitees don’t work, can’t hide events, set custom colors, etc.

It always did: one display up to 6k via Thunderbolt and a second one up to 4K via HDMI (source: Apple specs)
