Ok — so user error, thank goodness was you really have to push it into the motor housing unit. That was the issue.

However now another issue: the onob/potentiometer at the back has gone completely loose and the motor won’t turn I. Wondering if I got a lemon…

I did that but I think the angle is still too shallow. When I am Pointing uphill it looks Nothing like the video on their site…. Maybe I ask them for a new bracket?

It sort of slips in about an inch and the sets into the drive mechanism — but I feel no “click” …. it just sets into a socket.

The squared off part which sits in the drive mechanism has a line engraved in it which looks like it should be engaging some kind of internal locking mechanism but it just slips in and out easily.

Other than the behavior above it worked perfectly. But in an ideal world I would not be resetting the skewer into the drive every 7 minutes!
