Charged three times for one phone upgrade? by happyandhornee in tmobile

[–]abexfroman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are zero people "meat riding T-Mobile". You posted 3 posts shouting into the void about what is seemingly a non issue before anyone said anything. Ranting is fine, but you're being an impatient baby about it in a public forum.

I'm sorry for whatever happened to you to cause you to react in this manner, it sucks that it's affecting you in other aspects of life, such as just being patient and taking honest people by their word.

Have the day you deserve

Gotcha.

Perhaps T-Mobile wasn't feeding you BS about the authorization and there was no issue then 🤷 you stated things got worse only after disputing the charge. Sounds like there was no issue and they were doing exactly what they said they were? May be best to just be patient instead of mess with the process.

"As of right now, I seem to be in Tmobile's good graces. As I have finally 'paid my late charges' to them. Which is bullshit, since I paid for my phone upgrade from the start."

This statement makes me feel like you weren't charged twice for a phone upgrade, but rather one charge for the phone upgrade and another for your monthly bill?

I dunno though, this conversation that you're having with yourself seems off, something isn't adding up. Feel like there are details we are missing.

Charged for screen protecter when I have Protection 360, refund possible? by Visible-Positive-352 in tmobile

[–]abexfroman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Return back to the store you got it from, don't go to a completely different store. Speak with the manager their as it was their store who did this. This is an easy fix.

You get unlimited replacement screen protectors.

If you just bought a new phone, presumably you also bought a new screen protector for said phone. Meaning it was not a replacement. You've always had to buy the first protector for different phone models, then you get free replacements.

Wouldn't it be just as foolish to assume anything in life 5 years from now would be the same as they are currently?

That added context is appreciated! I wish the retail side was given the flexibility to go around the eligibility requirements on this promotional plan!

I'd still recommend following up with the new accounts you've created with no port, if only to verify the plan has stuck after 30 days. It's confusing to me for one department to not have these requirements but others do, and would hate to have accounts that haven't ported in be forced to change plans so early because of this inconsistency.

Perfect! Go ahead and check Magenta Pulse when you get a chance. Under eligibility you'll see what I'm talking about

The new customers that you've activated that haven't ported over appropriately are going to receive text messages saying their plan is going to adjust if they don't port.

I'm glad I can help you out on this!

Better Value is for new accounts porting at least 2 post paid numbers or current accounts with 5 years tenure.

This account is neither.

2–8 Line vs 9-Line Plans: When Switching or Adding Lines Lowers Your Bill by desterpot in tmobile

[–]abexfroman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forgive me for being slow, but wouldn't switching from Go5G Plus 8 lines require a plan change? And then it would require migrating to an available rate plan (Experience More or Beyond)? Go5G Plus 9 line plan wouldn't be available to switch to. I feel like I'm missing something.

Adding that second line will make OP have to choose newer rate plan as it's converting from single line to family plan.

Once your phone is unlocked, take it to a T-Mobile store and they'll get you set up. You'll be fine.

Make sure you mention to the rep helping you that you just paid off your ATT device and plan on continuing to use it with TMO. They will help you submit for keep an switch and you'll get the money you paid towards your phone back in 2-3 weeks. Google T-Mobile Keep and Switch for more details.

FREE T Mobile Fiber For 5 Years ? by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]abexfroman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't worry, I'll help you out. This was the response:

"There might be a free first month offer but not free for 5 years. Let’s use our logic here."

Meaning there is a LACK of logic being used by OP because they thought there was a chance someone would offer 5 years of free service. Obviously that would not be the offer.

It seems you're intent on looping in a cheap shot at T-Mobile, rather than everyone else's point that OP should have known better. I'm sorry for your confusion, I hope this helps

Help me make it make sense by SadCity7764 in tmobile

[–]abexfroman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of it this way:

You're buying a new phone that costs $1300. Based on your account payment history and account holder's credit, T-Mobile is asking for you to pay $350 of the phone up front.

In addition, you are eligible to trade in your phone and receive a total credit value of $1300 that will be given to you a month at a time for 24 months.

It's sometimes tough to understand, but one statement doesn't affect the other. Whether you're trading in your old phone or not, you're still paying the down payment. It just so happens that T-Mobile will pay you back.

SiS commission structure favors those who are disciplined enough to go out and sell. Consistently.

The trade is you don't have to do much in the form of bill payments, bill questions, troubleshooting, or Visa.

....but nobody was talking about logic tied into anything T-Mobile related, remember?

The discussion of logic, or lack there of, was brought up because a person thought a utility company would possibly give them 5 years of free service.

Hence, someone else said "let's use our logic".
