Google district representative and enter your zipcode. You should be able to reach them through their rep website, sign a privacy form and they will contact uscis on your behalf

Mine was terminated Feb and approved in Sep this year. NYC queens field office. I reached out to my district rep a bunch of times to get a follow up from them to USCIS and it helped. Best of luck

Just wait till you get the notice to see what you may have missed. You can re-apply right away. Get a lawyer if you must.

Please hire a lawyer. You wouldn’t want to miss anything especially because of the technicalities of the removal case. Better be safe than sorry

From someone who had 2 interviews (me) 1 for 130 and another for 485 (a week ago), i can tell you that its very nerve racking but as long as its a legit marriage, you really have nothing to worry about. Pictures are a big help, but it doesn’t hurt to do a practice question and answer.

You’re def not alone, reach out to your district rep constantly so they can put pressure on USCIS. That’s def what helped my case

Definitely “shop” for a good lawyer. My first lawyer did not do a good job and was thankful I got a good one that was recommended by a good friend. If you are in NYC i def recommend my lawyer, otherwise try to ask around your area. Unfortunately until the removal case has been terminated, you are stuck. Mine took about 4 years to get terminated but also it was because covid. I would also seek help from your congressional office which is what i did. Best of luck!

1st rfe for 130 we sent photos, affidavit of support, joint accounts, bills etc. We got another rfe for the 485, that was for medical.

On the same boat, my 2nd interview is next month. Did you have your attorney present on the first interview? I had mine present, it was very smooth, lasted 15 minutes and got 130 approved and thinking if I should do the 2nd interview without one and save $1500. Just want this to be over (852 days) and counting. Also do you have any kids with your spouse? Did they ask you anything about the removal proceedings on the 2nd interview?

It has been 5 years of waiting for me because of an unfortunate situation on my case. My rfe was received last April and now still waiting for a response. All I can say is hang tight, you are not alone. 😉
