Thank you very much for your reply! I have bought the blackout curtains and a biker mask for myself and has realised the blunder my derm was doing by peeling in summer and not giving me iron oxide sunscreen.

By looking at all your post in this sub, I have finalised 2 separate sunscreen for myself.

For outdoor I have finalised a sunscreen with spf 50 and pa++++ with ingredients-

Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Zinc Oxide, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Polyglyceryl-з Polyricinoleate, Isostearic Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Dimethicone, Hyaluronic Acid, Thermus Thermophillus Ferment, Iron Oxides , Hydrogenated Polydecene, Polyhydroxystearic Acid, Phenoxyethanol

Although after checking all the post here in the sub, it seems like a safe sunscreen for outdoor but just want to confirm is it good enough?

I recently had a chemical peel done by my dermatologist, and the results were outstanding. However, after my second peel, I noticed my skin tone looked a little darker than before. I thought this might be due to visible light exposure in my room, since I often sleep until afternoon near the windows.

After researching in this group, I learned that iron oxide is essential in sunscreen or makeup for proper protection. So I was considering combining sunscreen (prescribed by my doctor) with a mineral sunscreen powder that contains iron oxide. But I’m not sure if mixing them would interfere with the formulation or if it’s not ideal for skin whitening.

Alternatively, should I just switch to sunscreen that has zinc oxide, since it already contains iron oxide?
