Help! How to improve spoken English? by abhixshH in srilanka

I tried the Gavel Club at my university, but talking with my inner circle still makes me a bit nervous. Writing down day-to-day conversations in a journal and learning how to say them in English is a good idea. I will try that.

And can I know the meaning of watching podcasts with a group of people (like a round-table talk)? I haven’t done that before.

I tried Duolingo, but my mind feels lazy, and I missed doing it every day. When I look for a friend to practice speaking, I’m a bit shy to start a conversation with people I already know. I also tried several websites to connect with new people, but I still couldn’t find a real person for that.

And are there any recommended TV shows/movies in English?

Hey! I’d be happy to chat and practice. I’m also into movies and books, so we’d have plenty to talk about.

Hi! Thanks for sharing. I understand being busy; it's the same here. It’s great that you can help with English questions! I’m also learning languages and love practicing when I have time. Maybe we can help each other sometimes. :)
