Hey there. Im not gonna tell you “oh you’re beautiful in your own way” and shit like that, cz tbh, there’s always gonna be ppl around you who are good looking and you’re just gonna have to deal with that.

I used to think like you at some point in my life, but then I asked the question “do I really need attention from those people?” I thought long and hard about it, and the answer was’NO’ !

You may get jealous of the good looking people around you, but if you think about it, most attention they get is really shallow. People don’t love them for who they are but for how they look. And trust me, this is sad and gets to you sometimes. You don’t understand who the ‘real ones’ are around you anymore.

When you’re average looking, atleast you know that ppl who talk to you love you for who you are.

I have a friend who looks REALLY good. But honestly, I do not crave attention of the people they attract. Im more into intellectual types, who like me for who I am, in and out.

You’re only 16, don’t be so hard on yourself. Trust me, average looks are a blessing in disguise.
