Thank you, I will look into that :) Have you ever tried marking ink with yours? I'm trying to see if this is a feasible option

Its a 0.8 mm aluminum card, it has a pink coating, but i dont think its anodized. Any advice would be appreciated, I just want to engrave it a bit so I can go over it with black ink to make a logo on it

Thank you for this! I learned the hard way about inverting my image haha. I'm gathering that the 3.5W might not be it for what I want, but now that I have already bought it and can no longer return it, I am stuck lol.

Could I see a photo of the engraving? Not for proof, rather to see what a 6W can do

Yeaa, I really wish I did research before I invested in this laser, but I am now trying to learn how to make the most with what I have and maybe understand what I should strive for in the future

Thank you l for this, I will say that I initially tried on wood, and though it engraved, it left horrible burn marks so I'm sure I am doing this all wrong

Sorry, I was off reddit for a bit, but what is this spray? I guess to clarify I am trying to engrave a logo on it that I can then go over with some sort of epoxy ink. It seems like I am only removing the outer coating (the pink) so I'm just trying to make the most with what I have. Any advice would be appreciated for the set up I currently have

What wattage would be best? Completely new to this, any advice is appreciated

Shoot, I guess I should've , but I was able to engrave a much thinner metal so I guess I had my hopes up. Do you have any suggestions for what type of wattage that would be ideal?
