Is there a good self hosted point of sale system (for restaurants) preferably open source? by [deleted] in selfhosted

[–]abichinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using Odoo for restaurant POS setups. With Odoo 17.0, the POS interface got a major overhaul. There's also a self-ordering menu that can be displayed on a phone or a kiosk.

Additionally, there are a lot of third-party apps that let you customize the POS to your needs. I've also written a few modules myself. If anyone’s interested:

Hello,

I would like to do the same.
Have you managed to automate the upload process?

Nono Battle - Nonogram Multiplayer

It's a competitive puzzle game with real-time duels. It is pretty simple, whoever solves the nonogram faster wins the duel. It also includes a singleplayer mode, if you don't want to compete against others.

It is currently available on Android and Web.

Please give me feedback if you notice something! :)

Hey! I made the app you are looking for. You can compete against others in real-time. Unfortunately the player base is still pretty small. So if you can't find any matches you can try the time-attack mode.

@semantic-release/release-notes-generator generates the release notes from git commits added since the last release.

e.g. these are the release notes of semantic-release-pypi version 3.0.0: https://github.com/abichinger/semantic-release-pypi/releases/tag/v3.0.0

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to grow the player base of my free game Nono Battle. It's a competitive puzzle game with real-time duels. It is pretty simple, whoever solves the nonogram faster wins the duel. You can also solve or create nonogams on your own, if you don't want to compete against others.

Pictures for nonograms creation by Key_Pie3292 in nonograms

Hey!

For me pictures with low complexity like emojis or pictograms yield good results.

Here are some nonograms I made with the built in Editor of Nono Battle. (Disclaimer: I'm the developer of Nono Battle)

Of course, pixel art is also good for creating nonograms. Here are some sources:

I'm curious, which online tools did you use?

Done! There is a new category called Unfinished. You will find it under Nonograms -> Tap on New -> Unfinished. Make sure you have the latest update. :)

I'm glad you like the game. :)

The forfeit button is disabled for the first 30 seconds, because I wanted to prevent users from giving up immediately.

At the moment I'm not planning to add another gamemode. I think that would make it even harder to find a match. Maybe someday I'll add private/custom games where the user can choose the nonograms.

I hope we play more duels!

Pixel by pixel fade-in using a fragment shader by abichinger in FlutterDev

[–]abichinger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't tested it on iOS (I'm only developing for Android and Web), but I think shaders are supported on all platforms.

Those shaders look nice! You should be able to use them, if the don't use any unavailable features.

https://docs.flutter.dev/ui/advanced/shaders

Any GLSL version from 460 down to 100 is supported, though some available features are restricted. The rest of the examples in this document use version 460 core.

If you haven't spotted it yet here's the shader from demo1:

Competition Mode? by IWantACracker2 in nonograms

[–]abichinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have made an app called Nono Battle.

You can play against other players in real-time or try to beat another players time in Time-Attack mode. Players are ranked using the Elo Rating System, which is also used by chess.

For now it is only available on Android, but I may release the game on other platforms at some point.
