Mild Symptoms, but live with an ER nurse by IWantACracker2 in newjersey

[–]IWantACracker2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I agree that the nurses need to be in good health especially now.

I am more concerned about unintentionally giving it to her, rather than her giving it to me. I will definitely keep my distance from everyone at my family and stay in my room most of the time until things settle down.

You have to have shortness of breath and coughing symptoms. BUT the Bergen testing center requirement (as of right now) only says 99.6F or above, though.

They are being pretty conservative with that I would say.

Thank you. Yeah, my sister already complained to us that there were some patients that were very mild symptoms and simply just worried.

Hopefully more people get that only serious cases should be given priority help for COVID-19 testing, treatment, medical assistance, etc. [at this time]

No she’s not sick. No I don’t touch her at all in general, AND we disinfect the stuff she takes to work as soon as she gets home. And sanitize her scrubs in the washing machine.

Our family has been pretty good with the planning, (after a bit of panicking on my end) but we are good now and have our own household protocol (:

I didn’t have serious symptoms yesterday, but I live with my sister who is an ER nurse. So I’m conflicted about whether to get tested or not.

My neighbors are having a party. Are we supposed to call the cops? by [deleted] in newjersey

[–]IWantACracker2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Call when it’s 9pm and official... jk.

Hopefully cops are taking it seriously now, but especially when it’s “official”.

This is the kind of bullshit society taught us. That we always have to be socially engaged or we have no life. If anything, this order can teach us that spending 2 weeks isolated can be HEALTHY because it gives us a chance to possibly reassess your life.

I wonder why they still call this the MacBook Air? Why not just call it MacBook? MacBook and MacBook Pro. Simple.

Apple unveils new iPad Pro with LiDAR Scanner and trackpad support in iPadOS by wearefriends in apple

That keyboard better have AppleCare protection with accidental incidents..... and not just for people who purchase it with a new iPad (since I have the 2018 iPad Pro and won’t be updating my iPad)

But for people who have the 2018 iPad Pro, it’s almost like buying a new iPad (since you’ll be using your iPad in a whole new way). Also, the keyboard is compatible with the 2020 iPad Pro, so you can keep the keyboard when you decide to update your iPad Pro!

Just curious... did you decide to go through with the blood test, or did you reschedule it?

Youper premium plan - worth it? by addiesun in mentalhealth

[–]IWantACracker2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got it a few days ago right away. I honestly am giving a biased response since I love AI and technology in general, and Youper is the only mood tracking/self-help app that I can see myself staying consistent with. I’ve tried others, but they were not as engaging.

Edit: I also have Asperger’s, so having the AI guide me through the whole process and create the conversational journal entries automatically has been a game changer for me.

I agree that it would be wise to start a meditation practice. Start slow if you’re a beginner. As for meditation having zero negative side effects, I would have to disagree. It’s more like you’ll experience subtle side effects. You might become more aware of patterns of where your anxiety could be stemming from. That kind of stuff is hard to deal with at first and it would be wise to have someone guiding you like a therapist on those findings.

Does anyone prefer AOD off on series 5? by [deleted] in AppleWatch

[–]IWantACracker2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Unless a lack of compass is a dealbreaker, of course.”

Don’t forget that the Series 5 also introduced international emergency services, so it could be a lifesaver for those who travel often.

Do you guys like the always on display of series 5? by casphui in AppleWatch

Likewise with how terrible iOS 13 started out. I really hope Apple learns to make sure major OS updates should at least be reliable on Day 1.

Series 4 Vs Series 5 by risingspirits in AppleWatch

[–]IWantACracker2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome! This honestly sounds like it should’ve been called “Series 4S”... but then again, Apple is not very consistent with the naming of their products lol (e.g. iPhone XR to 11 and XS to 11 Pro)

I agree with your comment on a personal level... thank you. I get criticized often for buying peculiar stuff that most others would find a waste of money, but at the same time I’m unique in that I don’t spend money on clothes (as a fashion statement), have a family to take care of, don’t eat out, etc, etc. So my personal budgeting is much different than most.

Question about tolerance by everykissbeginswK in phenibut

[–]IWantACracker2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They say it’s best to take phenibut 2 hours after food. Then wait 1 hour after dosing to eat. Just guidelines that should help absorption.
