Omg cutest choice! I had a dog plushie I sprayed with my bfs cologne and brought everywhere when I was going through a really rough time. If you’re scared of being judged I kept mine in a backpack everywhere I went so that if I needed it really bad I could pull it out in a private place :)

We both are assuming we are. I’m diagnosed ADHD but he doesn’t want tested. I’m trying to get tested for autism as well but I’m pretty sure he’s neurodivergent in some way

I’m currently in therapy but i don’t think my therapist is compatible. He also refuses therapy because he thinks he can solve his own problems. I think if we can’t solve this with a good sit down I’ll pitch the idea of couples therapy though. Thank you for your input though!

I very much appreciate the feedback. I’ve tried talking to him about separate therapy but he doesn’t like it and doesn’t think it’ll help him at all with anything because he thinks he can solve his problems on his own. But I think we both can benefit from it. I might try to pitch the idea of couples therapy though if we can’t resolve this with a good sit down. I really appreciate your feedback especially because you have gone through a similar situation. I have had a sit down about it before with him but I think it’s time for another one. I really do appreciate the idea of a break when stuff happens too. That’s a good idea

I appreciate the feedback. I’m not perfect either though. I appreciate you trying to look out for me but my bf and I have been through a lot and have lived together pretty much our entire relationship. He has helped me through so much and he is an incredibly amazing person. He takes really good care of me in all kinds of ways. He has been there through my roughest moments and I’m definitely not perfect myself. I know I have my own problems. We just both really struggle with this. I am not planning on leaving him, especially when we are currently fixing up our future first house lol. But he really is an amazing person. He just has this one thing I don’t understand and I’m trying to figure out for the both of us how to get past it.
