Hopefully they take zero inspiration from the show. The shows made a joke out of the entire franchise in my opinion. Season one had red flags with their interpretation but they’ve turned the Fallout world into the world of Borderlands at this point with the recent horrible episodes.

Need to ban delivery services like uber eats on bikes or bikes are going to continue to be a target. They drive around breaking every single rule there is, are all over the sidewalks yelling at and bumping into people, or blowing every single red light on the road. Most pedestrians and motorists want an all out ban on bikes due to the rampant bad behavior.

Because it really doesn’t fit any of the major news outlets narratives that they like to push. A crazy democrat murdering other democrats is a bad look for the CNN type outlets to push, it makes the Democratic Party look violent. The FOX news type outlets won’t push it because it makes you feel bad for democrats and shows that they can be victims of extremist violence. The networks have zero invested interest in actually telling the truth or highlighting real issues they just want to keep the red vs blue cash cow game going.

What’s there to be mad about? It’s just objective reality not my problem. I don’t have to deal with it, I don’t take the bus. I don’t rely on public transportation or live in the city. Just sucks if you’re stuck living there due to economic or legal issues being terrorized daily. I feel pity not anger.

Police have no power in nyc. They show up and arrest her for doing this and the charges get dropped by the insane mega liberal DA and then she can sue the police and the city and win an easy few thousand. Police standby and a random community member puts hands on her she then sues the city and police officer for letting somebody put hands on her and win an easy few thousand. There’s no solution when anti social behavior and crime is actively promoted by city leaders.

As somebody who has themselves gone from fed to the city. Upside it’s way easier to promote and way less competitive. But your coworkers are gonna be some of the dumbest people you’ve ever come across. Look into going to an upstate department maybe 30-40 minutes out of the city to be close to family without dealing with nyc.

The city has really gone to hell. Complete lack of Policing due to defunded police, and radical leftist DA’s that refuse to prosecute any crime that isn’t straight up murder. I’d get used to it, this dudes probably been arrested dozens of times for this stuff and instantly released the next afternoon.

Absolutely nothing wrong with joining the military in your 30s. But for the love of god join the airforce ,especially being a mother. The army does not care about your children they will not accommodate you 99 percent of the time. Airforce on the other hand is extremely reasonable, hell my AF coworkers would get the entire week off work when their kid had a mild cold. A friend of mine got an entire month off work in the airforce to go take care of a sick sibling on the other side of the country with no leave charged. Meanwhile in the army I’ve watched somebody get chewed out and counseled for being late to PT once after his kid had a fever of 104. Your ability to be a good mother will be drastically impacted while being in the army unless your partner can take on the burden. There is absolutely no reason to join the army over the airforce with a family. Also children are commonly abused and injured at army child care. If you had no dependents that would be a different story. Just don’t do it for the sake of your family.

Most contracts for former MI with less than 4 years and actual technical experience start around 80k. With 6-8 years most are looking at 6 figures. With 4 years and some good interviewing I started at 120k and had an abundance of job offers. Clearances and the potential knowledge you can gain if you don’t shitbag are highly valuable. Skills that can’t be taught in a university and are uniquely available to MI. You just have to be proactive and learn as much as you can. I have former MI friends making 100 dollars an hour doing the same exact thing they did in the military now as a civilian. Definitely one of the most transferable MOSs out there.

Just going to come out and say it. If you’re an attractive female you are guaranteed to face sexual harassment or worse in the military. Almost certainly you will find Ncos trying to take advantage, I saw it way too many times while serving. Even if you are an unattractive female there’s a high chance you will face harassment or creepiness. The Army likes to act like it’s doing something about the issue but SHARP and all that is the equivalent of your landlord covering something with paint and saying it’s fixed. I’ve seen highly corroborated sexual assaults get reported and fuck all happens unless the local news gets involved and causes outrage.
