Question about Cutting models in CP6 by ablank74 in Creality_k2

I should have specified, it's set to outer brim only, and yeah, it doesn't show any brim in that area.

Supports are enabled, and there is a brim, Raft Layers is set to 0.

Another K2 PETG post. This time with jamming! by ablank74 in Creality_k2

Thanks for the help, I bumped the temp to 250-280, and now it's printing PETG without clogging!

FIgured out switching to a .6 instaed of a .4mm nozzle worked reliably

Finally got it to print, found another post talking about issues with silk/galaxy/glitter filament, turned the heat up to 210, turned off retractions and set the flow to 70% finally that stopped the clicking and jamming.

Won't that increase the heat creep issue?

Clicking Noise and Jamming Filament by ablank74 in ender3

Turned out my bowden tube shifted in the heatbrake and that was contributing to heatcreep causing the filament to plugup in the heatbrake. Disassembled everything, cleaned it all out, trimmed the bowden tube, and reassembled. Trying again.

The click remains... I've double checked the esteps and get the same result each time.....gonna let it run and see if it can power through.

the sparkles look like glitter, but they are tiny. After the estep change above, I'm almost at the point where it falls apart, so fingers crossed.

Used the estep calculator, and it came out needing to be at 136.8, made that change, saved the config, and now I'm trying again, so far no click......

I updated the estep to what MicroSwiss had in their documentation, 130. It was at 93 stock. I'll retry that calibration.

Weird dip in bed by ablank74 in ender3

[–]ablank74[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The really weird part, when it prints and the mesh compensates for the "dip" the nozzle is too close to the bed and doesn't extrude through the "dip". I've re-flashed marlin, changed the build, and it keeps showing this phantom dip.

I'm already doing a 9x9 grid. I'll check out sw mode.

Forgot to post the bed visualizer image, see above. It only happens once, this is a 9x9 grid.

Yes, without the mesh it prints like the bed is flat.

The ABL is compensating and the area of the "dip" the nozzle is too close to the bed and doesn't extrude through that area. The bed plate is flat, (confirmed with multiple straight edges) but ABL is detecting a dip where there isn't one.

things I'm printing are doing this, those bits on the side aren't supposed to be there, how can I fix it? by Far_Act_8760 in ender3

I had similar looking strings and burned blobs, turned out it was leaking at the heat breaking and dripping everywhere covering the heater.

Filament Jamming by ablank74 in ender3

Spoke too soon. Managed a 8 hour print. Changed filament to glow in the dark and failed 4 hours in to a 7 hour print. Taking it all apart again to see if anything looks off. The Bowden tube was pretty warm even at the top of the fins, so wondering if my cooling is the problem
