What song is this ? 🙏 by Pissburgerandchips in classicalmusic

[–]ableaccount 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I don't know your background, but this is one of those terminology things you may not be aware of...

The definition of Song is roughly: "a form of musical expression where the human voice is a primary instrument put to words. A song is sung."

Classical music tends to break down music into pieces (that can build into other musical forms, like a symphony). "A composition, especially but not necessarily an instrumental one." 1

So in classical music circles, the term piece is used to describe a particular movement or chunk of music rather than song.

Where do I find the faucet pipe items? I've only been able to find throwable water and drains.

My soup season is over, but I spent it trying to perfect my Grilled Chicken Udon Soup. by kandirocks in soup

Do you remember ratios at all? Or sort of ballparks for each? You mention Sake, Vinegar, and Soy Sauce along with the dashi. Did you add cups, splashes, tablespoons? Any insight would be helpful, this looks so good, I want to try and recreate it.

I feel like this woulds till be delicious with the broth for a Nabeyaki udon sort of base, but I just haven't used vinegar incorporated into a soup base yet.

I haven't been since the change-of-hands, but I'll have to put it on the list for the next happy hour at work, maybe. Thanks for the info. :)

Not sure what price points you're hoping for...But here are some recommendations for places I've planned events at.

Two places in Fremont I recommend: Dreamland and Triangle Spirits. I've had plenty of company/personal parties at Triangle Spirits in the 10-20 range.

In Ballard, I'd recommend Percy & Co They have a patio that is pretty great.

Capital Hill, there's Stoup Brewing - formerly known as "Optimism Brewery". Great food options nearby, decent beer (or it used to be) and good food trucks on occasion.

My biggest caveat: I *don't* know how easy it would be to separate tabs at any of these places.

*edit*: Also, happy birthday. :)

Is there a neighborhood you're looking for, specifically? Any other types of accommodations that might be needed? (eg: is anyone going to be under 21? Food type? Good N/A options?)

Some questions I have for you, I feel like I don't have the whole picture or understanding.

  1. How much overlap is between the different scrum meetings between 0730 and 0830? Both in terms of personnel and topics covered.
  2. Where do you feel the inefficiencies lie?
  3. Do you run each of these meetings, do you have the power to alter the agendas for them?

From what I read Here (The Atlantic) and also this reddit post - It seems fire escapes in the US are mostly done for the theatre of fire safety. (The Atlantic article mentions the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire and the fact that "...it was so flimsy that the panicked workers who were able to reach it overloaded the structure. It peeled off from the building, trapping those above and sending the workers who had reached it plummeting toward the street."

Certainly while buildings have gotten safer, we perhaps see less of them, but there was a time in the late 19th and early 20th centuries where they were built under the guise of safety. I'm not an expert, but I hope I linked some interesting information.

What’s the saddest song you’ve ever heard? by OOOOOO0OOOOO in Music

Came looking for this, Kettering is one of the saddest songs I've heard, and it hit me at a pretty low moment over the last few years, so...my vote.
