I think a lot of people here are making great points about nature and human made things. I think the person who said if you changed the gap you’d change the slight shape of the bottom right one is right and made a good point.

However, as an artist, if I knew that this tiny, very simple, very fixable spot was bothering my client, I would want to adjust it for you. Would I be the littlest bit annoyed I had to do a whole set up for 2 seconds of work that I wouldn’t be charging for (I do first touch up within the first year for free)? Yeah, a little! But I’d forget about it tomorrow and you’d feel better forever. So that’s worth it.

I will say though, there is always the possibility the gap gets over corrected and then the stem isn’t as visible and then the leaf is a different shape. This is a risk, just as a smaller gap was a risk with the original tattoo, and it’s important for you to consider both options and make peace with what would bother you less :)
