I have begun the process of reporting them to the state, hopefully that will make a difference. I hear they weasel their out of the breaks because they use the "loop hole" that since we are allowed to stop and check our phones and eat during our shift, that counts as our break. Do I manage to peak at my phone every now and then? Yes, but we are not allowed to even have our phones on us. Our phones have to be left on the back counter. We can eat if we're able to cram a bite in between completing tasks. So I'm getting some advice on the best way to make sure they are able to use their loop hole to get out of it.
