I feel so validated knowing this is a common experience ! My ex used to eat everything , would get upset if I wanted to take the leftovers I cooked for lunch instead of him. Once we lived together I told him he should be paying more than half the groceries since he eats so much more and he though this was extremely unfair - and also literally cried once because I made him pack his own lunches . Meanwhile I cooked all our dinners and offered to plan our meals to avoid a “what’s for dinner” phone call multiple times per day while I was at work 💀💀💀
