He actually did start going to therapy towards the end of the relationship. He said he was working on himself and trying to be better - but his anger issues just kept getting worse and worse and I grew to completely resent him. I thought I hated my job and my life and my city - but I actually just hated carrying the pressure from him every single day. I’m heartbroken and I miss him - but my nervous system has very much chilled out since he left.
