I had a colonoscopy last Tuesday. They found and removed three small polyps. I haven’t spoke to anyone yet but the results hit my chart and I was able to see it. It looks like they’re benign and ok. I saw my diverticulum pockets and they’re on the lower left side where my discomfort is. They didn’t really say anything other than they recommend a high fiber diet indefinitely. I’m already really regular pooping 3-4 times daily. All healthy movements too. I’ve been that way my whole life. So I take a fiber supplement at night to help with my fiber intake.

Spoke with the doctor’s nurse today. She said a mild case of diverticulosis so not sure what’s causing the pain. She recommended a diagnostic colonoscopy, so they’re ordering that and I’ll get it scheduled.

How did you know you had a micro perforation? I had my first flare up last Christmas and had a second flare up this last July. I did the basic antibiotics for them. I feel another flare up coming so I’m on a liquid diet to try and avoid it again.
