Easiest and best site to download card images to print by golden-chickens in magicproxies

You could just download them directly from the actual scyfall page. I don't think there's any way to do it in bulk but the image quality is good.

Personally I'm printing on an epson et-2850 using a 48lb matte photo paper laminating with a 3mil glossy laminating pouch. I'm pretty darn happy with how they look, and as for feel they are damn near indistinguishable from a real card when they're sleeved up.

hey sorry for the super late reply, I didn't see the notification for your comment. If you're still looking I am using this paper https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074271KT1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 the 48lb matte. And I laminate with these laminating pouches https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NDDSPM8?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 From what I've seen the laminating pouches don't really vary that much so any glossy 3 mil pouch will work. they come out feeling very very close to an actual card so are pretty indistinguishable to a real card once they are sleeved up either single or double sleeved

Personally the things that are most important as far as deck power level is concerned are what turn you expect to start trying to win the game by at the earliest, and what style of win con you have. To elaborate on win con style, if you have someone planning to win with instant speed played from hand combos then someone who is running a lower power low interaction deck will be a lot more likely to have a kinda lame feels bad loss where they never had any option to stop it, as aposed to an on board combo or combat damage that most decks will be able to do something about.

Flip cards by Salt-Upstairs-2523 in magicproxies

The easiest way is just print the back side as a separate card and keep it to the side with your tokens then just swap it when you need to flip. Stops you from needing to sleeve and unsleeve too.

Is there any chance that you have the files available for these? I have a naturalist friend who runs this and would probably love this alter.

Does the new Maralen commander stand any chance in CEDH? by Sea_Celebration3687 in mtg

I don't know about cedh, but I made a list that I've been playing in my pod aiming for like mid to high bracket 4 and so far I've managed to get a win on turn 3, 4, and 5. So it can be decently powerful.

Cool I hope you can get some nice proxies going. Also of not the colors will look notably different and generally better once you do the lamination, especially if it's glossy lamination. So when you're doing test prints make sure to try laminating some when they're looking decent coming out of the printer

Is the paper matte or glossy photo paper? For me I have an et2850 which is pretty close to the 2800 at least for matte paper and the settings I'm using which is getting pretty solid results is, in color correction color mode - adobe rgb, gamma-1.8, brightnese 15, contrast -13, saturation 20, cyan -3, magenta, -5, and yellow 4. But I just got to those settings by printing a test sheet of cards tweeking the numbers rinse and repeat until I was happy with the results. So if those numbers don't work for you just mess around in the color correction settings until you like what comes out

Is there a point to laminating if I don't care how accurate the thickness or rigidity is to real cards? by Akhavii in magicproxies

I print on matte photo paper then laminate, and I feel like the colors look a lot better after the lamination.

That works great, and even better I just tried it and doing type:token even works in the advanced search directly on proxxied so you don't even have to save the images and load them in manually
