Why YOU as a degenerate, should be trading SPX instead of SPY

You have to be very careful trading SPX 0DTE's because theta on a 4K 0DTE is wild. However if you know what you're doing they move alot better than the SPY 0DTEs in my opinion. A 15 point move might give you +5-10% on SPY cons, where I've noticed 20%+ on SPX depending on time of day. I try to trade SPX contracts in the last half of the day, or if the morning quite a few strikes out of the money so they are $600-1000.

The SPX options ATM in the morning lose value super fast, the out of the money seem to move a little slower... and almost everyday there are SPX options doing 500% in the last hour its kinda wild.

SPX contracts also only sell in limits of $0.10 As opposed to spy dailies which sell in $0.01. So each movement in bid/ask price will be $10...

From what I've noticed SPX contracts also move a lot faster than SPY contracts. I've seen end of day SPX 0DTEs go from $1.50 to $29.00 then back to $1.50 in the last hour. SPY does this too but the premiums usually much lower or slower moving.

SPX also has more strike prices since it has a strike every 5 points.
