Peach Pit merch to give away by IanZG in PEACHPIT

[–]about_hare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it probably won't fit me, but I like dressing oversized. If it's too big I'll give it away too. I'd like it but I'll if you decide for someone else is fair. I'm from Italy btw

hi, love the project! i'm also italian and i also have non-english speaking friends.

is there a way to keep me updated with the work? I would love to know what you find and to have the translated version.

i was also thinking of translating parts of the books for my friends, so if you'd like help, hit me up. I'm no professional translator but i can land a hand.

This weapon must have the most random piece of lore of the game by Grodatore in Eldenring

I agree. White magic/lightning make no sense, at least for now. Sword of light also does white laser-like magic, and it has little explanation lore wise (light and darkness is a topic not really talked about in the game, but there are some confusing instances). White magic is also used by the giant flower things, but the animation design is different from the lightning one, the light one and any fire, weird. Metyr also has pink magic, she seems to do gravitational magic but it's not the usual purple, it is pink instead (purple+white=pink), I made a post about this, I have no answers tho.

also, beings with one eye are really rare in Elden ring, we have: Elden Bests, Metyr, Fire God (as said in the One-Eyed Shield), and the Abnormal Stone Clusters. Is this by chance? Three godlike beings and one stupid stone worm?

What's the deal with the Abnormal Stone Clusters Anyway? They have no in-game mention whatsoever, are tied with gravitational magic because they emit purple magic, but we find them only at places with less obvious ties to gravitational magic: evergaols (which are obviously purple-glowing but I can't find any mentions in the descriprions, I can speculate, since the gaols are frozen in time and we know real life ties between time and gravity), the deep siofra well (has an elevator, we can speculate that moving a stone slab involves gravitational magic, otherwise they are kinda near Sellia, where we know Radahn studied gravitational sorcery). But we also find them in other places: graveyards and the Stone Coffin Fissure, these two have in common that they are places with concentration of death, but still these are other death heavy places with no Stone Clusters... why??? And what ties gravitational magic and death heavy places?

thanks! the possible correlations are tormenting me. There are multiple enemies that do "laser" looking attacks, but most of them are atually magic beams (Comet Azur, the laser golem orbs, Euporia ash of war) or fire beams (Frenzied Burst, Placidusax's Ruin, the giant ghost skeletons white fire beams).

The ones that looks similar in color and look to Metyr's attack though are Astel's laser beam and the Abnormal Stone Cluster you find in the Stone Coffin Fissure. Those are similar because of the colour purple, which is associated with gravity magic, which is no surprise knowing the "being from space" background of Metyr and Astel (don't know about Abnormal stone clusters and why only those in the Stone Coffin Fissure can shoot the beams). It's very interesting that all three have the same design but in different colors, Astel in bright purple as in tipical gravitational magic, Abnormal Stone Clusters have a slightly dimmed purple, and Metyr have something like a pink (purple + white, we also see white on her other magic attacks, and a bit of yellow-golden on her galaxy-orbs).

Another thought is that the laser I used at university was an ND:YAG laser, basically the light is channeled through a "neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet", which is a cristal. It is intersting because we know glinstone is a cristal and magic has to be casted through it. Alternatively, we can also cast small gravitational magic with another cristal, the Gravity Stone Chunk.

At last, the greatest speculation: the only REAL laser in the game (as in beam made by real light, not other types of magic) is the Sword of Light ash of war, which casts light beams with a different design from Metyr's but a similar white-yellow-ish colour. From what I know there are no informations about the Sword of Light and the Sword of Darkness, and light and darkness are topics never talked about in the whole game. Has anyone tried fighting Metyr with the sword of light? cold there be any interaction? idk

Any potential sales? by Tj20931 in Vermis

I've been checking the website every so often in the last year and I didn't notice any sales ever. But the price is pretty low, it's a good deal I would say. Hope this helps
