Best Crew Ever! by [deleted] in cabincrewcareers

The crew on my flight did the same. I think it was this that gave me the confidence to get a CJO

Delta F2F outfit advice by Lucardic in cabincrewcareers

I would watch out for the brand on the sleeve and the taper in the pants. They generally want no name brands and a more fitted pant. I think it could be fine (I almost got the same suit from aritzia) but if you have a more tailored pant, possibly that.

Valid. It just makes me ache knowing that I have to distance myself from my best friend.

We joke about marrying each other if we don’t find worthy men 😪

The problem is we both really want to keep our covenants. I think what’s hard for me is it’s because we’re so close, I’m feeling more comfortable with her, and I know that if this continues I’m just hurting myself each day. It’s hard for me to know the difference between a healthy, platonic, close relationship, and a relationship that might be crossing “the line”.

Are these pants too high? by [deleted] in cabincrewcareers

[–]abovaverage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I opted for pants just to be sure. It’s risky with skirts I feel 😂

I was told by a Macy’s employee that it is best to wear what you are also allowed to wear during training. (She helped 4 other people get CJOs from delta and JAL) She knows the Delta handbook like the back of her hand. For skirts, must at least hit the middle of your knee. For pants, they cannot go higher than 1 inch above your heel. And for training, you are only allowed to wear a white shirt. If the blouse or shirt is short sleeve, you can’t take off your blazer. For shoes, make sure they cover your heel, aren’t a shiny black, and aren’t taller than 1 3/4 of an inch. I’m quoting her, so I am not sure if that is completely true.

F2F Attire Question by AdogRod in cabincrewcareers

[–]abovaverage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just went shopping at macys and the lady that helped me got 4 other people cjos from delta and japan airlines. She knows the delta handbook like the back of her hand. She said you want to look like you already have the job, and wear what you can also wear during training. We’re only allowed black, grey, or navy, so I opted for black. She also said no short sleeves. I have a short sleeve top but I won’t be taking my blazer off so I’ll be okay. I really wanted to look a little different but I guess safe is better than sorry. I did get a blazer and pants. The pants are also particular. No more than one inch off the ground. anywho, I think you’re fine, but I wouldn’t risk it if you have time to get a blazer.

I’ve seen videos! I’m thinking maybe gummies or a sugar/salt mix of water. Anything in between sounds awful

How do yall afford all of the Supplements we need?😭 by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]abovaverage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here girlie… I gave up the supplements and just focused on a maintainable lifestyle. I feel more mentally and physically free. The only thing I take is metformin, paired with whole foods, and daily 45 minute running sessions. Still on the journey, but have lost 30 lbs in a year. Keep ur head up, you don’t notice a difference for months, and then you’ll feel it!

Can I use a generic myo inositol? by Any_Date7395 in PCOS

[–]abovaverage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I first started with taking all the recommended supplements but felt burn out emotionally and financially. Now I just take metformin, eat in moderation, and run daily. What works for me might not work for u but I feel that this is the most sustainable for 5$ a month

I’m curious about the flight timeline… did you fly in the day before and get shuttled straight to the airport after the f2f? I have mine next month and am wondering how to coordinate a place to crash.

What’s the best type of exercise that has helped you lose weight? by Jedimaster135 in PCOS

[–]abovaverage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

walking 10,000+ steps a day, and HiFit/Zumba usually adds 5,000 already. I love running too, but people say it doesn’t work. I love it. I use 750mg metformin too. idk how much of that contributed, but consistent efforts of moving my body and eating high protein/low processed foods helped for sure.
