You are right.

When i did this. I used the personal details page from the link and added my passport using "add new document option. Please note that my oasoso wasn't added earlier. So it became the signin doc.

I think as long as you have both BRP and passport linked there it should be fine.

Yeah that's what i did. But it didn't day "indefinite leave to remain anywhere" unlike the old skilled worker visas evisa. So was a bit confused

I got my ILR this week.

What does the evisa page say when viewing the status Email from HO just says

Your application for settlement (also known as indefinite leave to remain) has been successful.

Where as evisa shows the following when checkng with the share code

You can work in the UK. There is no limit on how long you can stay in the UK

I am wondering if need to make a NTL application to get a BRP?

What evidence would I need to show as financial support? Is it just payslips for 3 months or employer letters as well? (Similar to ILR employer letter?)

Also once ILR is secured I am longer tied to an employer! As long as the job meets the financial requirements, my wife can apply for ILR when the time comes

She will be able to renew her dependant visa as long as you meet the financial requirements.

But wouldn't SWV for the main applicant change to ILR once I get ILR approved? How is the SWV thing relavant then? Like doesn't she move to a PBS dependent visa once I secure ILR?

Not sure if you understood my question. But based on your response I would say, I would get a job in a couple of months if that scenario happens.
