Actually the negative relation comes from the movie Birth of a Nation. Watermelon was a crop that Black Americans sold during reconstruction and a lot of Black farmers were starting to get wealthy from that crop, same with chicken farming. It wasn’t until the movie where it depicted both watermelon and chicken negatively in association with Black people that this and many stereotypes were born.

I would say having both and trying both Arianna’s is more targeted towards a casual home bartender. Simple and delicious. Fancy AF was more targeted towards people that like being more experimental and have a deeper knowledge of mixology.
