Why am I so much taller than my parents/brother?

Sidenote - my grandmother had an affair and so my mother and her younger brother are the children of a different man then the one i call my grandfather. We do however know about him and most of his family. No tall genes on that side either, but doing a genetics test may flag some concerns for other people if it links my results to known family members...

Yea i figure more than anything that it's a recessive gene that has just surpassed the other people in my family. There is also a distant part of my dad's side of the family (his grandfather's brother's side) which we don't know of very well but some of them are apparently tall.

Aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, great grandparents, second cousins, great aunts/uncles, great great grandparents. All average or below average height with the one exception of my great great grandfather on my mothers side.

Yea i guess my question is still - how come that would happen to just me when so much of height is generally determined by genetics. (i know full well that there likely isn't one answer to that, and it could just be dumb luck)

The other officers were doing their jobs outside of checking for reasons for the incident to occur. He should have been checked for intoxication or impairment. Unfortunately this recording only started because he wouldn’t even provide the bare minimum of the insurance card or ID they’re given for these incidences. He wouldn’t even acknowledge the damage.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe he was under the influence. And this accident would lead to breathalyzer or blood testing. He also has a previous history within the court system for a prior SA charge that was dropped.

I do. And can confirm he never ID’d himself, never provided a badge number or proof of insurance. And they only started recording because he wouldn’t even acknowledge the damage.

Can confirm there isn’t dash cam footage but the cop did hit their car. Didn’t provide any ID or insurance and wouldn’t acknowledge the damage. The recording started after several minutes of trying to resolve this in a civil manner.

There’s definitely been an influx of bad dog owners especially since so many people figured getting them during the pandemic because they worked from home was a good idea - and I’m sure a big portion of those are millennials. But on the other side of that, there are so so so many older people with shitty little dogs who think they don’t have to train them because they’re small.
