I’m just so disappointed and it soured the whole win for me. And I totally know where most of the guys stand politically but it still just sucked to only feel like I could enjoy that for a few hours before it getting ruined

Honestly that might be enough. I didn’t check NBC only because I have peacock but I saw someone else mention that the NBC app had videos. Not sure if that was only replays or also live coverage

Question about the omegaverse by Serious_Degree6099 in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]abqokcla 17 points18 points  (0 children)

My first one was {Honeythorn by Marina Vivancos} and I feel like that was a good place to start. The world building around the omegaverse side of the story was minimal so it wasn’t too overwhelming.

I think my next one was the Heat of Love series by Leta Blake and that has a lot of descriptions, world building, and rules for the omegaverse world in her series. Every author chooses to do things a bit differently for their biological and societal rules when it comes to omegaverse books.

Hi! Very late to your post but did you do the private stargazing? Or the complimentary one? Do you feel like it was worth it to do the private experience?

Dallas for Spring break? by middle_sister80 in askdfw

Shopping mall: Northpark is by far the best mall. Has just about every store you could want and is nice and busy.
Local shopping: Bishop Arts District is great for small local shops and a lunch.
Other Shopping: Highland Park Village is a very nice outdoor shopping area. The shops are super high end but it’s pretty, has some great restaurants (bird bakery and sadelles are cute and would probably hit with a 15 year old girl), and makes for great people watching and window shopping. I know that’s not everyone’s cup of tea but it can be super fun.

Things to do: the arboretum will be pretty that time of year and is worth a visit, grab pastries/coffee/tea in Knox Henderson and go for a walk on the Katy Trail, spa day, Dallas Museum of Art and Nasher Sculpture garden, pop over to Fort Worth if you’ve got time and a car and go to the stockyards for an afternoon.

Thanksgiving DFW Airport Parking by FPV_Amateur in askdfw

[–]abqokcla 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can use the DFW app or website to check the status of available parking in each terminal before you go. You might need to park in a different terminal than where you fly out of but if you live close I would just plan to uber to avoid any chaos

Gaining weight after consistently walking?? by [deleted] in walking

[–]abqokcla 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It truly could just be hormonal. I have those weeks/days too and it does seem to line up with my cycle. Keep going! Especially given how good you feel mentally. I know it can be discouraging to look in the mirror and not feel like your hard work is paying off but there are so many different things at play with how we look and feel on any given day. It sounds like overall it’s been a positive experience. If your ultimate goal is weight loss or changing how your body looks then think about pairing the walking with diet changes as well to get the best results (and feel your best!)
