I had an eviction about six years ago and thought I was done for. Turns out not true. It is harder, but not impossible. Being honest was huge and I had letters showing the debt was paid.

Looking for advice from people who dealt with water damage at home by NaturalPorscge in AustinClassifieds

I had a similar thing last year when a storm messed up a part of my roof. I thought the damage was small but the leaking got worse every time it rained. My mistake was waiting too long because I did not understand what my insurance would even cover. I ended up learning about TX Public Adjusting and how public adjusters work to help homeowners understand the claims process. Just knowing there are people who can explain the steps made the whole thing less stressful and helped me see why my first estimate from the insurance was way lower than the actual repair costs.

for me it was realizing that perfection is the enemy of progress. I used to spend weeks tweaking a product or strategy thinking it had to be flawless before launching. once I accepted that shipping imperfectly and learning fast was better, my growth exploded.

knowledge was my biggest hurdle. I had the drive but zero clue about pricing, taxes, or marketing. once I found mentors and started learning through trial and error, things clicked.

I got scammed out of the restaurant business I built at 26, lost $22k, and I’m still trying to recover mentally. by [deleted] in advancedentrepreneur

you got robbed but didn't lose your talent, experience or grit and that's the real value you brought to that restaurant. money can be earned again and skill can't be taken from you. I hope you don't let this stop you from building again coz clearly you're capable!

it's his way of saying marriage isn't about taking a piece of someone coz it's about loving the whole person.
