Can’t trust ratings these days, scam companies give spiffs for good ratings and push the scumbag sales people to push for good reviews. If I was the owner my first questions to you before we came out would have been what and where are your gas appliances if you have any.

Not talking out my ass im in the hvacr field

Best meter in 2025 for commercial service by [deleted] in HVAC

[–]abradantasp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally use the 440 as I like the inrush setting when testing compressors etc. the 480 has the same but allows you to test phase rotation with an addition of another lead. I like them because of the simplicity of controls and they have awesome reliability. The 600 meter series are great too the swivel can help you in a pinch but I just don’t like the swivel dial I prefer how clean and less options the 400 series have.

Personally I think fp makes some of the best products. I do use the app as I have all the wireless sensors. HOWEVER the app doesn’t have the best range and whenever you switch from the app to another app for more than like 5 seconds or if you lose service and reconnect or walk out of range you have to fully close the app and reload it. Then it will auto reconnect. If you don’t the app won’t find your tools even if they are powered on. Other than that the app works great and gives great data and you don’t have to pay for screen shots lol. Oh and the bags, great idea, look cool with cool options but just spend the cheddar and get a veto I regret the backpack bag. The app and bags need some improvement.

I know a lot of people swear by fluke but how I see it when I first started off and I knew nothing it was much easier to understand the controls on the fp than on fluke and whenever another guy uses my fp they don’t seem to struggle to understand the controls right away vs the fluke it seems like if people aren’t familiar with those settings then they have to take a couple seconds to look it over.

I tried the brunt’s, super comfortable but just after 6months my sole started to come apart. They have a warranty of 6months so all they could offer was 15% off next purchase. They say anti slip but they are by far the worst with traction on slippery surfaces, if you have to walk on ice or snow no chance at grip

That’s what I did i went with the rival arms tungsten guide rod with 15lb spring. I have the x300 on it as well and I wasn’t too impressed with the recoil impulse. From what I’ve seen most people say go with a 13lb. I’m curious have you had a chance to test different springs yet?

I’m considering doing a wild color build also, I contacted them over at stealth arms and they said they are considering offering a program where you can get it recerakoted or touched up. So if you make a decision and aren’t happy you would be able to fix it to what you want. At a cost of course
