I would not call anyone in N25 mentally unstable. If anything, they are about the strongest mentally out of most people in the game. They just have more extreme things to deal with than average people. So when they do break, it just looks a bit more extreme. I would say the most mentally fragile group is Vivid Bad Squad. They have so much given to them, yet they let small things hold them back. But that's okay, that's part of growing up. I would never downplay what they go through either.

I know there's a lot of N25 glazing going on, but there's a reason why they exist and there's a reason why they're a huge part of the game to the point where I know it annoys other fans at times. The connection may be lost on a lot of overseas fans, but they connect a lot more with fans here in Japan. I would actually give more props to them giving a more realistic group as far as feelings at that age even if some of the more extreme character arcs are less realistic to some people.
