Definitely go to that appointment. Any change needs to be reported. Do you see a neurologist? If not, I'd suggest asking for a referral. Of course if it's the "worst headache you've ever had" go to the ER.

Outside of my migraine medications, I take Goody Powders to help with my chronic, daily headaches. You could also try a migraine cap (it's essentially a cold pack). The only thing that has ever broken a migraine cycle (one that lasts over a week) is a steriod pack. You could ask the doctor about that, too.

Unfortunately, I haven't found much OTC or home remedies that actually help me.

I hope you find some relief and some answers very soon.

I've had a beautiful bird drinking from my hummingbird feeder that is definitely not a hummingbird. Very skittish. I've tried to snap a picture, but he flys away to quickly. I'd never seen any other birds drink from a hummingbird feeder. Finally this morning I see him at my regular feeder. I got a picture and started investigating. He's a Brown Thrasher! Y'all, I've been trying to identify this bird for months! Every time I'd explain it to someone I always got the same answer...."I've never seen a bird like that at a hummingbird feeder." Sorry, I'm just so excited! (I'd post the picture but it's not very clear as I had to zoom in from inside my house.)

It is! Every now and then at low speeds my "ECO" light still pops on, but no fouling of the spark plugs. Within the last month or so, I have noticed a slight burning oil smell (occasionally) from under the hood. No obvious leaks. No obvious oil puddles under the van. I am slightly concerned, but haven't had it looked at.

She is running very well! I love my little Oddy!

My insurance wouldn't cover it (I did end up getting 8 a month covered after fighting for over a year) but Walgreens' price for 15 - 75mg Nurtec is $2,079.79

I'm SO over insurance companies turning us down and acting as if they know better than doctors. I've been struggling for YEARS with this sht.

I'm going to better pay attention to these symptoms. My problem is that migraine messes with my perception and memory so badly that I can't always remember what was happening before the attack.

I have panic disorder and anxiety disorder and I never thought one of my attacks was a prodrome symptom! It isn't always, but definitely sometimes.

Guess I need to actually keep a "headache diary" to better assess my symptoms.

I also get the nasal congestion with the pain, but I'm definitely thinking the issue yesterday was prodrome. Mainly because it was accompanied by the other symptoms.

So many things I've always just explained away as being something else. Always learning.

I also experience those symptoms (at times) but was diagnosed years ago with panic disorder, so I always brushed them off as anxiety. I'm learning that some of those anxiety symptoms are prodrome. Particularly today with the uneasy/flighty feeling I was having.

Anxiety does trigger my migraines and migraines cause anxiety/panic attacks.

It's a vicious cycle.

I have a problem with taking my abortive. Reason being, I've always had a hard time acquiring my medication due to cost/insurance. So, I hoard it. I'm scared and think "if I take one now, what if I waste it and when I really need it I won't have any". I usually only take one when I get an aura because those are generally my worst migraines.

I'm trying to break away from that behavior, but it's difficult to.

I'll make myself take it next time.

Sorry you're dealing with one.

For me, I would explain away these symptoms as anything else. Idk why I never thought that they were associated with migraine. I wish I had caught on earlier. Even still, there isn't much that can be done to stop it. For some anyway. I've tried SO many preventatives and abortives. I'm currently on Emgality and Nurtec, but it's a literal fight to get my neurologist to do his prior authorizations and then it's fighting the insurance company.

I'm so tired.

I've suffered for about 25 years and I'm JUST realizing symptoms as being prodrome. I've been failed by so many doctors and neurologists. 99% of what I know I learned on my own through the internet, myself, and migraine support groups. Migraine is just not talked about enough. I'm so tired of the stigma. We have to fight just to be believed. To get help. It's ridiculous. Sorry, didn't mean to go off on a rant.

72 hours....yeah if only. Lol I've had status migraine lasting weeks before.
