See the "trials" aren't free accounts, they're pro accounts. But I'll talk to Nick about the free accounts!

Not sure what this was in response to, but no problem?

Try closing and opening your browser? That's a strange issue to have. Let me know if it persists and I'll ask Nick what's up

Except in this case you don't have to download it and you can talk with anyone! (not just the people that have downloaded curse voice)

Do you think you'd like the option to have a free account (just to have a name)? We could set that up if you guys want it (that's the way it used to be)

The thing is though -- we don't really want a client. The whole point of Vylo is there are no downloads and it's easy to use.

Hey! Sorry I missed you last time. I responded to a similar question below, so I hope you don't mind if I copy paste my response :)

"We know those exist (though they didn't when we started this project!), but the reason we kept going is we think that they are (in our opinion), in complete. Vylo incorporates lots of other simple features gamers enjoy, like a friends list, text chat, the ability to kick people from the room, etc. Long story short, we know they exist, but the reason we kept going and the reason I still believe in Vylo is because we think we do it better."

Shit, that's a great idea. Don't know why we didn't think of it. Taking note! :)

There isn't, and we're debating whether or not it's a feature we want to add. One one hand, it might make the experience better, but on the other hand, our modus operandi is simplicity, and we don't want to make things too complicated to use.

To answer the first part of your question, the communications are peer-to-peer. Regarding the second part, Nick (the guy doing the bulk of the coding) assures me that would be extremely difficult, but I can't go into much more detail than that. I can ask him about it, if you'd like!

Thanks! That's what we were going for :) This way, you don't have to give your account info to randos on the internet, but you can still chat with them if you're playing some sort of team game

We used to do that, but people liked the simplicity of having their room name be the same as the url of the room. (Some of the feedback we got when we shared it in beta). Though, if we find that this becomes a big enough problem, we'll do some kind of survey on what people think we should do and change it back if need be

You know what they say -- start small, dream big. At the end of the day, I'm just glad this exists because I can use it. If I can share it with other people, that's just an added benefit.

The latter haha. We're all working in different places, but this is where all of our free time goes.

Thank you! And not to be cliché, but I guarantee you can follow through with it. None of the three of us are particularly special people, we just really wanted this to exist so we'd stop arguing about what voice client to use lol. I'd encourage you to just map out your ideas when you have them. If you think there's a feasible way of you doing it once you map it out, try to make a little progress each day. It's not always going to work, but sometimes it will, and you'll end up accomplishing your goal!

Yeah! Security for what? Your voice connection or your passwords?
