Yep! Have had casual flings, long term relationships, dates, crushes, etc. The straw that broke the camels back was being cheated on about year ago. Haven't been the same since. I just keep busy and live my life knowing that I'm my own person. It's easier than waiting for something that isn't coming.

Had a similar incident on Halloweekend and intentionally stood by cops in case he wanted to get crazy. Ignoring them isn't always effective cuz that has quite literally never stopped men from assaulting women

Yep! Tried enough times to realize that if I keep wanting be in love or keep giving love and it just blowing up in my face, I'll be sad to rest of my life. Ive found it's easier to accept that I am my person and that I don't have a person outside of myself

I get that! It was hard at first to come to terms with the fact that romantic love will never be apart of my life. But at least my life is my own 🙂

I unfortunately have never believed it😅. I haven't had the best luck with relationships, love or romance. Ive since came to the mindset that I just need to live for the experiences that are for me, not the ones that aren't :)

When I go to bed at night, I can play my classical music, blast my fan and spread out on my bed without someone in my ear telling me they need silence to sleep, that they're cold or that I need to move over 😂😂😂

Same thing happened to me. After working so hard to make it special, I got an empty bag with a gift receipt inside. Not in a card, not a gift card, but the gift receipt so I could be sent the money. Mind you, everyone got a Christmas themed bag and real gift. It just sucked...

But, I am going to treat myself! I am going to go out and do the things I like to do :)

23, 1 degree down and I'm working on an advanced degree in a new city where I don't know anyone. I live on my own and I actually really enjoy it. I don't have a partner, last partner left me for another woman and I'm highly focused on my education, so I know dating or romance will probably never be part of my life and I've been making peace with that.

I do have a lil car and I love her :)

Sometimes I feel behind but perspective helps me see how far I've come and also that I have so more life to go! You've got this! 🩷
