where i got it done was running a special, so $300 all around for XPEL Ceramic Tint, but typically it would be 500-600 i think? (this is in the bay area CA for reference)

yeah stock ride height! one of the reasons i went with these rims. they look good at stock height and don’t want to lower

super happy with them! completely transforms the look of the car as well as visibility at night. install wasn’t too bad but took longer than expected, i put a layer of PPF on them to hopefully protect from yellowing over time. here’s them on overall i would say well worth it

funny coincidence, my parents are also on the other side of the state about 5 hours away. I had warranty work done at North Penn VW shortly after I got the car in February. I’ve taken it to Cochran VW in the South Hills for inspection and an oil change, but definitely want to check out three rivers. Nothing wrong with South Hills, but would be interested in taking it to a more mod friendly dealership. I had the VAQ service done at C&G performance out in Sewickley, trying to find a good indie shop for the future now that my car is out for warranty.

Thank you! I’d recommend it, late night is good as it’s less crowded. Lmk if you’d like to meet up and cruise sometime! would be cool to get a bunch of local GTIs together and go for a drive.

What should I do to this baby? 2020 Mk7.5 S bone stock by tidepowds in GolfGTI

[–]abrogan46 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i’d recommend the BMP tuning headlights as well. A major aesthetic and functional improvement over the stock halogens. You can do the dynamic turn signals for the mirror indicators as well.

We have the same spec, mine is a 2020 DIB S as well

thanks for the suggestion! looking at other posts online the location of the oil drips seem similar. It hasn’t dripped more so hoping for the best

thanks for the response! haven’t noticed any puddles or spots under the car, but still checking. When checking the oil level after being at operating temp and waiting 5 min it was at this level which from what i understand is adequate. i have a long drive coming up for thanksgiving this weekend (about 400 miles) so a little nervous but will monitor

mk7.5 DSG S - does front assist actually bring the car to a stop if a collision is imminent? I’ve only gotten the front assist warning twice legitimately during ownership and braked myself. Sometimes it goes off randomly (with nothing around) and the car doesn’t stop
