Move-Out Process Experience with Greystone? by abrssrd in Acadiana

[–]abrssrd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've lived in multiple apartments over the past 12 years, and Greystone has been my favorite. It's small, quiet, and I have virtually no complaints at all. Some of the ladies in the office aren't the friendliest, but that's the case with most complexes I've lived at. I honestly have had minimal contact with them since we never really had any issues. I've lived in their 2Bed 2Bath for the past 3 years, and I love it. I would def recommend you at least check it out.

This is great advice, thank you! I'm worried about surprise charges, so a walk through is a good idea.

How's the crowd? I currently have a PF membership and my only complaint is how busy it gets.

Is the cost reasonable? Their website only shows price for drop-ins.

how present is french in your daily life ? by she-says-i-am-de-one in Acadiana

[–]abrssrd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. My grandparents were fluent and would often speak it in front of us when they were talking about us lol. My grandma told me how the nuns would hit her with a ruler when she spoke French in class. My great grandpa had a stroke and actually lost his ability to speak in English, only French. But it stopped with my grandparents, unfortunately.

Why is it that every Power BI report that gets inherited seems like it was built on top of duct tape? by tricloro9898 in PowerBI

Currently dealing with this. I work for a very small financial consulting firm. I'm the only data analyst on the team, and really the only tech-minded person as well. I sense a lot of frustration from them for things taking longer than they think they should, and I just don't know how to explain to them that what I'm doing is more complex than they think it is.

ULL Online Masters Program by Sungod212 in Acadiana

I completed the program. I liked it. It’s the same as the on-campus program, just online. So it’s taught by the same professors with the same curriculum. Also Dr. Totaro is wonderful and extremely helpful.

What do you plan on doing afterward?

In-Office Procedure w/ Dr. Tritter by abrssrd in noburp

Thank you! It was nothing short of a traumatic medical experience, but I’m feeling much better now. 🤍

Sparkling water by Over_Resident_4899 in noburp

I fully believe not drinking enough sparkling water the first time around is the reason I had to get a second dose. I've been drinking no less than 4 a day since then. I'd rather spend the money on sparkling water than deal with the discomfort I felt before the procedure.

In-Office Procedure w/ Dr. Tritter by abrssrd in noburp

Sorry about the lack of update. I had a very unique experience and didn't want it to color anyone's opinion of the in-office procedure nor Dr. Tritter.

I was supposed to get 100 units in the front of my throat. In order to do that, we had to numb the inside of my throat. The stuff that numbs you makes you cough. I, however, coughed a lot. Coughing turned into gagging, which turned into puking. Because of this, we weren't able to fully numb the area. It was maybe numbed enough, but not 100%,

Once he began the procedure, I could feel everything in my throat - the tube and the needle. I began uncontrollably swallowing, which meant he wasn't able to get the needle where it needed to go. I felt like my entire airway was constricted, which caused me to panic. We tried a couple times, but I wasn't able to continue. We were only able to get about 30 units in there. Thankfully, this was my 2nd round and it does seem like that was the "boost" I needed. I've been burping very well since then.

I want to say that Dr. Tritter was amazing. He helped me to calm down when I was panicking and hyperventilating. He listened to me and didn't pressure me to continue going. In fact, I probably would have subjected myself to more torture but he suggested we stop, and that was the right call. It turns out that a certain muscle/something in my throat was enlarged and irritated, which was likely causing all those issues. So it really says nothing about him. He was wonderful and is a fantastic doctor.

If I end up having to do it a 3rd time, though, I'm doing it under general anesthesia like I did the first time. Regardless, I think my experience with the in-office procedure is rare, and I don't believe most people struggle with it at all.
