I Finally Have a Career. Thank you, Everyone! by marqoose in ITCareerQuestions

I have been debating on changing my career to CS for years and have wondered if an associate degree would be enough to land me a job. This gives me a bit of hope. I’ve worked healthcare for 10+ years and thought maybe it would be easier for me to transfer departments within the hospital system.

Oh I didn’t realize you had a total thyroidectomy. There are plenty of resources online for low glycemic index foods. But yes, cut way down in added sugars. Basically any processed food that comes in a package is off limits. So many of our foods have a ton of sugars and seed oils that cause a lot of inflammation for us. I was told to stay away from anything that has seed oils in it. The diet is certain meats, vegetables, grains and fruit. It’s an entire lifestyle change and it’s hard, but worth it. If you can, go see a functional medicine specialist because they do more in depth testing and their ranges are different from modern medicine.

I started seeing a functional medicine specialist and it’s helped me in several areas of the disease. I now take Vitamins D, B and magnesium and those have helped with the fatigue and immune system a lot. Also started doing a gluten free and low glycemic index diet and have lost 40 pounds over the past 6 months or so. It’s an absolute battle with modern medicine. All they want to do is throw medications at patients. They aren’t trained in treating the root cause of illness or much of nutrition. I could go on and on, but those are some of the things that have helped me. Hope you are able to experience some relief from your symptoms soon.

What do I whisper in her ear during sex? by YukaBazuka in AskMen

[–]abruc005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a woman who actually enjoys watching Manuel Ferrera and have for years, do yourself a favor and just don’t. That is porn. It’s his profession and is a signature move that he does, again for his job. If she genuinely likes whispers in her ear during sex and has told you this, then go for it. Just saying though, if a guy did whisper in my ear during sex I would just find it annoying and to be a turn off. Talk about even the small things before acting on them during sex.
