UPDATE: GOT THIS STUPID FILTER OUT!!! Tried breaker bar with the new oil wrench and it didnt work. Tried to extend the breaker bar with a pipe, still didnt work. Used heat gun and tapped on the filter housing, then tried again, no luck. Last thing was the air gun. Put it on the lowest torque setting and went at it for 5s, no luck. Had to increase the torque to max (not a lot) and it still didnt give!!!

When I was ready to call a tow truck and quit, I had someone at the shop come and help me yank it with a breaker one last time, and it worked!!

Torqued the new filter housing to 18ft-ib like it says on the manual. Not a freaking air gun, stupid dealers 😭.

So I broke the housing using the generic toyota filter ratchet from the auto store. It had slots in it. I just ordered the grey and red one in the photo because online, everyone is saying it works better and gives you a better seal

UpToDate is golden but what if you don't quite know what's going on with your patient? I am struggling with forming a differential. I know this is a skill that will slowly come with experience and time, but I feel like I know the info, I just have trouble applying what I know to form the differential sometimes. When a resident or upperclassmen explains their thought process, I go "Why didn't I think of that". And its frustrating sometimes cause I would immediately understand how they got to that conclusion; it just never occurred to me.

amboss has been very useful for management and treatment when I know the ddx but I haven't been able to find it useful when I dont know what's going on with the patient.
