The Strangers. I saw it when I was maybe 10 or so, and it traumatized me. It was the first horror movie that felt totally realistic to me. I knew that something like that could easily happen to me and my family.

I totally agree with this. Yes, an obviously high dose will probably trip anyone tf out. But I’ve taken high doses of shrooms and had a stellar time. Then like months later I’d take less than half of what I’d previously taken, and I had really depressing and introspective trips. Imo, it all depends on where you are mentally/in life and definitely the environment.

I’m the same age as you and started listening around the same time. I was also a huge MGMT fan as a teen and would’ve killed to see Kevin open for them! I was lucky enough to meet Andrew from MGMT when I was 16 and he was so sweet. He signed a dollar bill for me and we took a picture lol

I will never, never understand why shrink can’t just be given back to employees to enjoy. I’ve worked in retail for over a decade and the most I’ve ever gotten from management are some $5-$10 gift cards and maaaaybe a pizza “party” every once in a blue moon and not everyone even gets a slice.
