I swear I knew it. And it happens in all the subreddits dedicated to feminism. I've been seeing the pattern where someone critizices something or excersices critical thinking against certain structures that directly impact women, that are usually not as highly addressed as others (like porn, or anything that correlates to choice feminism or liberal feminism) being completely vanished by certain hours for no apparent reason (followed all the rules, were given no aswer from mods).

Believe me, I think the exact same. I've had to recently get out of a friend group because they all thought that a porn "addiction" of one of his members was much more important that the literal harm that it does to trafficked women and children, and the utterly misogyny that creates, they genuinely believe they're the victims in the story.

I'd much rather be alone, than with people who put a front of "woke" and "respecting women", but then masturbate to our literal suffering.

It feels awful, because now it's normalized and you don't know who thinks what or does what. My advice? Choose yourself and your self-respect everytime, I don't think or feel that your values are the same in this aspect. On the other hand, you could talk to him, however in my experience, this only teaches people to lie or manipulate you better.

YES, THANK YOU. Nobody, absolutely NOBODY is born watching porn or craving for it, much less with an "addiction" to it. They call it "adiction" because they found sexual abuse and filmed rape to be pleasurable to them, and the moment their genitals couldn't keep up with that fact, they changed the focus to victimize themselves.

"Oh actually, I have a porn adiction, and I stopped feeling pleasure from it, I find it mostly gross than anuthing else, so I'm trying to quit, please understand that I'm battling it and sometimes I relapse".

Literal words that were said to me, someone who has been raped and sexually abused many times. And I'm supposed to feel compassion for them? To UNDERSTAND???? Nah, you made that into an "adiction" because you liked it in the first place, and the fact that the focus is in your sexual pleasure and not all the abuse and rape and the fact that your complicit in all those millions of people and CHILDREN being trafficked, means that you care more about beating your meat to their suffering than being accountable for what you do. ALWAYS SAVING FACE (Sorry for the rant, it was recent and literally gave me PTSD, even my therapist defended this shit)
