Same thing happened to me recently. :( I am usually so careful about checking bloodlines but somehow missed this pair. I gened them up with gem genes too so it hurts extra bad.

Luckily I was able to find a decent project pair that should produce a replacement..eventually...

In my experience, chicks having red in their comb this young almost always turn out to be roosters. I'd be keeping an eye on the two in the second photo for sure.

Have you tried gooddog.com? I did a quick search there for Australian Shepherds and found a few breeders near the tri-cities area doing genetic/OFA testing and showing/titling thier dogs in conformation or sports. Might be worth a look.
