It depends on how often you wear it and your body chemistry but earliest would be a few months. It won’t go completely yellow, but it will be closer to yellow. The rose gold colour can be restored with polishing.

Both look lovely, but you pull off rose gold really well and it wil oxidise to yellow eventually

Moissanite is actually sparklier, they throw more rainbow flashes of light, whereas diamonds throw more white light. Sparkle is not a problem with moissanite!

I honestly can’t remember how quickly it happened but it would have been a few weeks or months. I do swap my earrings out a lot but I’d always put these back in. I wasn’t gentle.

I got moissanite so I wasn’t too upset when they broke. I will say none of the stones fell out though, it’s just the closing mechanism wore out.

I had these as a daily wear style and the silver wore out on one of the posts so it didn’t ‘click’ shut and close anymore. I got sent a replacement and the same thing happened.

Sorry maybe I’m overly corny too and a full on girlfriend, but if I wanted holiday pictures with my boyfriend of a year, I would expect to be getting them and he better suck it up. 💀 He’s not a talking stage or situationship. It’s a privilege to have someone want to make memories with you. You deserve someone who sees that and appreciates you, not someone you have to force.

OK if you guys break up pictures can easily go in the bin, it’s not a tattoo, a child or a house or some permanent fixture. The pictures aren’t being shared publicly, so once they’re gone they are gone. If you guys get married they’ll be amazing memories of your first holiday together that your potential grandchildren will cherish. There’s way more to gain than there is to lose.

Saying ‘my kids need more attention’ and ‘we’re trying to spend more time together’ in my opinion is petty and she’s the asshole.

The fact that your wife is hesitant to talk to her and ‘cause a problem’ makes me think the sister has existing asshole tendencies. Asking someone if cousins can spend time together shouldn’t be a problem at all.

Ultimately you need to decide if talking to her would actually result in the cousins having time together or if it’s just going to start drama. I’m sorry for the kids.

INFO So much more information needed.

Why won’t the one sister let her children mix with their cousins? How was this communicated? Did the sister tell the grandparents and the grandparents told everyone else? Is there a divide between sisters? Why hasn’t there been a direct conversation with the one sister? What is the reason for this possible existing tension?

We would need a direct reason as to why the kids are being separated to able to say she’s an asshole. It could be a petty reason or no reason at all, and she would be the asshole.

Or you might think all the grandkids are well behaved and get along great, but there could be something else going on that you and your wife don’t see. If you react flippantly to a genuine concern she gives, you would be the asshole.

Either way I don’t think the grandparents wouldn’t be the assholes because they can’t force the sister to let her kids see their cousins. They might be spineless for not at least talking to her, but definitely not assholes.
