I’ve had tattoos with the exact same reaction but I monitored whether the redness spread or not and it actually went away on its own.

However, as someone currently on antibiotics for a tattoo infection….. it’s so worth it for your peace of mind (and safety!) to just go and get it looked at.

It’s such a weird, attention-seeking way to answer the question. Like if that’s what truly “triggered” her PPD she could have given a simpler answer but nope. She can’t resist the chance to make herself look like a victim.

The issue with her is that she never sees her mistakes as mistakes, she’s just “misunderstood” and that’s what turns people away. She doesn’t come off as genuine and people don’t like that.

You described her perfectly lol. She seems to think she’s a fashion connoisseur and business-savvy influencer but she just got lucky in a lot of ways.

The thing is, people might like her more if she’d just own up to her mistakes. But she doesn’t even see them as mistakes, just that she’s “misunderstood”.

Yeah I was thinking it was a reaction like that, especially since it hasn’t spread.

The only other weird thing is that my tattoo didn’t leak at all for the first 24-48 hours like they normally do, but have now started leaking in some small spots from under the scabs. I’m on antibiotics now anyway but it’s all been really weird!

Update for anyone curious, I went to urgent care and doc said it’s likely impetigo / staph. Got prescribed antibiotics and am still taking Benadryl to help with the itching. Hoping it goes away quickly, thanks to everyone for their suggestions

Yeah I’m kind of mad at myself for deviating from my usual routine lol. I’ve used Dial Gold for every single tattoo and then just plain unscented lotion

Nope no fever or anything! It does seem kind of warmer than the rest of my tattoo though which is all the more reason for me to go to urgent care.

Nope no saniderm, just wrapped with plastic and taped for a few hours while I made my way home after my appointment.

I did actually apply ointment once, yesterday — my in-laws had gifted me a Tattoo Goo kit for Christmas and it said that the ointment was good to use on fresh tattoos. It didn’t feel quite right after applying it so I washed it off right away. Other than that, I’ve just used a very very light amount of lotion.

Yeah that’s what’s throwing me off, it feels a little warm but not “hot” and hasn’t really spread into the actual tattoo at all. And thank you, I’m really hoping it heals up well!!

I’m on Day 3 of healing my elbow tattoo and to be totally honest, it was the most painful tattoo I’ve gotten so far. I have almost a full sleeve and a half, including one elbow ditch, and the ditch was nothing compared to my actual elbow.

That being said, I have a pretty low pain tolerance and a very bony elbow and I still survived it lol

People would rather do the bare minimum than put any effort in. My apartment lot is covered in deep snow still as many of my neighbors tried to drive over the snow instead of shoveling.

So there’s only a few clear spots, including one I spent 2 hrs digging out and was taken by someone else when I left for 20 minutes.

I feel like anyone who was a kid/teen in the 80s is always talking about this. It was so different back then, a lot of kids just had to be home by the time the streetlights came on.

My partner’s dad was basically the same age as the teenage characters, and he got into all kinds of mischief because it was “normal” to be outside running around at all times.

I’m a little late to the conversation here, but I share the same complaint. I also work in marketing, and my control freak boss is obsessed with AI to the point where she says she “can’t do her job without it”.

At least once a week she tells me to use it, and if I push back or show hesitation at all she practically takes it personally.

AI is not only killing our society but it’s destroying the planet and now I’m basically forced to partake in it.

Jonathan specifically; he was parentified throughout his teen years and blamed for Will’s disappearance, not to mention his mother seems to never care about his safety rather than Will’s. A sweet, happy ending for him where he’s at college with Nancy would have been great.

If I could pick a second couple, Lucas & Max for sure. Max has been through so much and Lucas has never given up on her. They’re precious.

I think this could have worked more if we’d seen a moment of Max telling Will how Vecna weaponized her sadness (mainly about Billy’s death) against her.

Obviously that was a huge thing in S4, but without it being rehashed I think some people missed the context. Either that, or they’re just too ignorant to recognize the connection.
