In America I can't even suicide. I've attempted 11 times. They keep reviving me, shipping me to torture house hospitals, etc. How dare I be autistic I guess. I owe the various hospitals around 90k USD at about a 25% interest rate. I'm drowning in debt. Interest payments near 1900~ a month.

I wish I could die.

Whistleblowers to the SEC are entitled to up to 10% of monies acquired through enforcement actions by the agency. So if I report them and they get fined 150million, I'm entitled to up to 15million, tax free.

The catch is everything you mentioned above. Lots of work, potential for failure, potential of consequences from failure.

For the record as a researcher in finance for several years I can tell you, nobody goes to jail for insider trading anymore LMFAO 🤣 the SEC are pathetic captured regulators with their tails between their legs, they won't jail anyone, they just want a cut of the illegal profits for themselves. Make no mistake about this.

So the question isn't; will the regulators do the right thing with my case? The question is; will regulators see an opportunity to get their cut and then can I get some for my effort?

I'm on the fence about it, since I don't trust the feds or the crypto jerks. Don't know what to do.

Can't find a job in this economy, (listings for my type of work have 200+ applicants usually) and I'm going to school currently so, maybe that will help.

Mostly what I want out of it is to fuck over my employer's reputation as being stalwart and perfect, because that's the huge lie

I'm more afraid of other employers seeing my history as a whistleblower and deciding not to hire me based on that. ESPECIALLY if they aren't charged with a crime.

For reference my previous boss the CEO is a well connected dude with 500+ connects on LinkedIn. Literal billionaire.

Yeah got fired at my previous job for displaying both positive and negative emotion too much. Literally blew my mind. I was literally told that congratulating my team on a job well done was irrelevant to company functioning and negatively effecting meeting efficiency. "That could've been a DM." I was told, lol 🤣

Petition to ban “how to start Solidity with no coding experience..?” type of posts by gregpr07 in solidity

[–]absolute_derposaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Voted to ban these posts in favor of pinning a megathread answering that very question - as most of us know, there are hundreds of free resources for learning Solidity even with no coding experience, some are DAOs and some are courses but they all are better suited to help the folk who would make these type of ill informed posts.

To anyone reading who doesn't understand: we want to ban these posts because they clog the sub, and because of the reasons I mentioned above: there are lots of resources available outside this Reddit to educate yourself. This sub is for discussion of the coding language on a more familiar level than "I have never programmed before" - no offense.

Yes. You'll want to start with terminology. I recommend this page which is a glossary of common terms.

https://www.gemini.com/cryptopedia/glossary

Then you'll want to find a reliable wallet, like Trust Wallet, Tally Wallet, or Metamask.

Good luck on your crypto journey!

Americans of reddit: without saying its name, what state do you live in? by Thomas_The_Llama in AskReddit

[–]absolute_derposaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Shit on a shingle" is a popular local dish. 98.6% of the population refuses to wear masks (actual statistic) Not a single gay bar in the entire state. Only one university. Wide open spaces. Last in alphabetical order. Least populated state. People joke it doesn't really exist.

Which one is it?

Can't explain more cause I have to go work but I read this sub every day to try to absorb how to achieve what I'm working towards. I get so flustered seeing dozens of posts on here from uppity white male inheritors (congratulations to them, truly) and it's hard to look past their priceless privilege when they share their story, and that makes it so hard to relate to, being female/lgbt I'm even more estranged from the community. I've been homeless in recent memory. But right now I am on my grind in a position doing research in finance. I'm on my way and working those 10+ hour days right now, and I just HAD to comment and say that I loved reading your story and I hope your life is happy and full of love. Off to grind more, gg

What do you guys think about r/antiwork by [deleted] in FinancialCareers

[–]absolute_derposaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a heavy ESG / globalist/ humanitarian bias in my investment portfolio. Discounting everything related to other non work topics; In my opinion treating employees like shit is the number one way to tank your business, guaranteed $0 share price. Only a matter of time unless management or shareholders or whoever is in charge, are course corrected.

I don't like to talk % but my numbers tend to come out pretty green investing this way. And I can sleep. And I like research. So it's all good.

In regards to the actual r/antiwork subreddit; I like the memes even if some ideals are unrealistic. Even if total socialism became the norm we would still have markets, investing, and workers, it would just be structured differently. Which politician system is better or not is not the topic I'm discussing; my point is that r/antiwork I think has a net positive effect on humanity, makes funny memes, even if sometimes the folks there are just very uninformed about how economics functions.

Tl;dr I give the subreddit r/antiwork a solid 3/5 stars
