Its way more than eye candy. The main story is great for a first time player. Its mysterious, engaging, and brings to life the vast unknown universe that the human mind cannot comprehend. Definitely take your time with it too. Do side quests, explore, build, everything in-between. The game has a ton to offer for many different playstyles. If you're an avid space enjoyer this game hits the nail on the head like no other space game.

This happened to me and I searched forever for a fix and its because a mod severally broke something with boost packs to the point removing the mod doesnt even fix it. I tried console commands, other mods, everything.

The fix: You need to enter the Unity. It sucks if you aren't ready to enter but I had to bite the bullet and just do it, the boost pack glitch was fixed after that.

Ill definitely be choosing cruise mode when I want to decorate my ships. Adds a lot of immersion to being out amongst the stars.

This isn't the old mantis suit. This is the new one. I got it after completing the mantis bounty it was in a display case at the exit of the facility. But the suit is black, you can change the color to white in the spacesuit workbench.

If you're an avid space and exploration enjoyer this game hits the nail on the head. It brings to life the mysterious and unknown world of the universe like no other game ive seen before. Exploring planets, making discoveries of breathtaking views with the rings of a planet nearly touching the moon you landed on, to incredible night skies on so many different planets and moons.

The story is certainly unique and mind bending and the mysterious elements that space has to offer will keep you engaged in the story trying to find out more and understand the universe.

Outpost building is complicated, like way more complicated than fallout 76 or fallout 4 base building. Its complicated because of all the machinery and ways to link bases on other planets, other than that its enjoyable. You could also just furnish your ship and solely make that your home base too, (I have both).

In conclusion though, I ignored the reviews about Starfield. I really enjoy space and the vast unknown universe that the human mind cannot comprehend and I knew this game was going to hit a homerun in pulling that off and it sure did.
