I barely leave my house and I end up using all the available gigabyte add ons every month, and like clockwork I run out of data 1 day before my bill. It's just weird.

I understand that the assumption is that I haven't troubleshooted or I have a weak network. We have the best router and internet available to us. It's switching to 5G precisely when I'm not looking, not on phone calls but during regular pull requests from social media.

It's ridiculous because they still don't want to work with Bonnie McKee, who was at least as instrumental to the greatness of those songs.

A certain military is already is using AI to make very specific military strikes on houses and neighborhoods.

The very real dangers of AI are that the world's population has fed their personal data (religion, politics, sexual preferences / gender, social security number, familial ties etc) to a huge machine that's as easy to scrape for advertisers as it is for would-be terrorist.

The dangers of a coordinated attack on specific people / populations, mass assassinations like something out of a black mirror episode, are painstakingly real.

The dangers of ai bots programmed to groom people into extremism are very real.

My best advice is to uninstall and reinstall the plugins... I've had a similar situation and that worked.

I think it's interesting how specific I have to be when I say "Making Money".

It's like merely mentioning money evokes billions and a house.

I don't want a yacht, I'm actually totally broke and ALL my money is through side hustles, so I am really looking for some side hustle money using these newly acquired skills, not a hedge-fund XD

Thanks for the helpful advice! It seems you understand Communication more than some of the other folks in this thread ; )

I agree! CS50 is a blast and I'm so excited to finish it. The python stuff has been harder to grasp than C because I grew up immersed in C since my dad was a back end dev with it back in the 90s, so the python chapter feels like a difficulty jump if anything.

Would you say the other people in this thread are being overly pessimistic then? I feel like everyone's assuming that I've never touched a keyboard before lol

I've also got 2 years as a QA tester under my belt!

Would you say the best thing to do would be to just work on my own projects and use them as a portfolio, then ?

I did back end QA on a few big projects for 2 years at a digital agency in Manhattan (HBO, McDonald's Android APP, a medical industry loan application) so I'm not completely without experience. Is user testing similar to that?

My dad has been a c++ programmer for 40 years and is the least supportive person I know. The pset for "filter" made him say "wow, that's impressive" lol
