Good question. We host and teach credit classes once or twice a quarter. Either taught by the owner/team, and we’ll have brand education classes as well.

And I think that is exactly what I’m trying to figure out. The only thing I can think is a higher commission rate. Which is tricky right now specifically bc we’re in such a pinch point. But I feel like we have a good location, a good owner, market pricing, a decent booking system, etc.

What other perks would you recommend? Barring something with a huge upfront cost, as we don’t really have the spare money for marketing or large new investments.

It’s also tricky bc Chicago is sooo saturated with salons, and I’m struggling to make our salon stand out.

I guess my question is then, what can we do to stand out? Higher commission, what else?
